About Me

I am a Financial Analyst with Capital Advisors, Ltd., a wealth management firm in Cleveland. I joined the firm after  graduating from The Ohio State University in 2006 with a degree in Finance. I am Series 7 licensed, Series 4 licensed, and a CFP® professional.

My work with clients involves developing, implementing, and monitoring a wealth management strategy and plan, including: portfolio management, risk management strategies, cash flow modeling, estate planning, and employee compensation, among other things. In order to sufficiently complete those tasks, I do extensive analytical research on markets, the global economy, new investment products/trends, and recent developments in the wealth management universe. I also help develop intricate, customized financial models to further the wealth management process and enhance the advisor-client relationship.

One of the main reasons I am writing this blog is that I am completely fascinated with the investment, finance, economic and overall wealth management landscape. As such, I view providing commentary and research as not only integral to my work, but as something I enjoy. Further, one of my favorite pastimes is a vigorous discussion on anything related to this subject.

I currently reside in the Tremont community - a historic, artsy, restaurant and bar laden neighborhood of Cleveland, Ohio. In my spare time I play basketball at 6 am when my knee isn’t shredded (currently just recovered from my second ACL surgery), enjoy a good book or film, watch the NBA, read up on historical events, stay current on new technology, and over-analyze seemingly mundane decisions, among other activities. I am also the consummate pragmatist and apply that philosophy wherever I can.
